I'm lying in bed shaking, trying not to panic but not being very successful. I've noticed the past few months that my pupils are sometimes different sizes and also suffer from headaches. I'm also meant to wear glasses when I read and watch tv but often forget. Have been googling and now convinced myself something bad is going on in my brain :-( I went to the doctor with headaches in December and he looked at the back of my eyes and said everything seems healthy but I didn't mention this particular problem with my pupils. I've got myself so worked up and of course tomorrow is Saturday so can't even go to the doctors and put my mind at rest. I'm in such a tizz :weep:

I always do this, and I think its the angle of the light in my bathroom or something, my left pupil always looks bigger than my right....dont google, its evil! youre probably getting headaches cos youre stressed and not wearing your glasses but you know that. The doctors checked your eyes, you know its ok.

Try & reassure yourself that a) if you have prescription glasses, that means you'll have had eye tests, and nothing worrying has been picked up, and b) you've seen a doc very recently and he didn't find anything either.

Don't feel you haven't got medical help if needed over the weekend, NHS Direct is on the phone 24/7 and sometimes all you might need is a chat with a nurse to put your mind at rest.

Yes ring up the nurse/NHS they can be soo helpful :)
Stop stop stop thinking you're going to die.
It's your imagination, it's just a thought! Your brain reacts to thoughts/dreams as if they were real so your stressing your body and mind out for no reason.
Worrying is not helping you.
Stop researching too, now come on you know there's lots of harmless things it can be but you're choosing to focus on the worst thing possible.

If you can't wait to see your doctor, I totally understand the anxiety and fear, you could maybe get an eye exam in town? Or call into a store and ask if you can have a quick chat with the optician :)

If that doesn't work or you simply can't calm down or wait for your doctor you could try a walk in clinic or an out of hours doctor.

I am so fed up of this anxiety, it's taking over my life. I have a huge fear of leaving my children with no mum :-(
