Can anyone explain what exactly the difference between these two conditions is? I'm confused.

hi lotus. i was diagnosed with both last year. GAD is generalised anxiety disorder and OCD is obsessing compulsive. I have very bad anxiety, which then triggers off my ocd which i will then clean and tidy to try and make the anxiety subside. the anxiety sunsides for a few hours but creeps back, so again i will clean and do other OCD activities, its a vicious cycle but i take medication and i am working on it.
