Hi

Found this site whilst looking for info about Citalopram, which I'm about to start taking, and have found reading about people's experiences with this drug and how they are dealing with anxiety very helpful.

After years of facing increasing anxiety about all sorts of things I finally got around to trying to deal with it by professionals. So I'm starting Cognitive Behavourial Therapy end Sept. (I'm very lucky in being able to get this paid for through work health cover).

From stopping catching the tube 12 years ago, after beginning to have strong anxiety attacks, my anxiety has increased to; hating catching any kind of train (too many people, no windows to open, no air to breath, I'm going to panic.....!!), hate flying (I've not taken a proper holiday abroad for 11 years, used to love going to far off places), only being able to sit in an aisle seat in theatres and cinemas, etc....

I just want to get a grip of my life again as this anxiety and general negative thinking (obsessively)has been basically overwhelming me and stopping me 'living' for far too long.
