fluoxtine first week

So after going the docs with an odd freckle- which wasn t so odd. Meltdown in the doctors- i was put on for the godknows how many time the above. 20mg once a day. I will take them this time. Follow up appt in a week.....heres the anxiety....why the follow up?

I started them 2 weeks ago and I have to go and see my gp today for a follow up apt. I think it's just to check how we are getting on with the fluoxetine.
