Help - Food gets stuck - scared :-(

Hi There,
Quite a few times recently I have felt food getting stuck in my throat on the way down. I have to stand up and take a drink to move it. Terrified I have cancer. It happened today again whilst eating a baguette.

Hi sunflower, this happens to me regularly, has done for years. Mainly when I eat dry foods like baguettes! Also I don't chew my food well enough and eat too fast.

I really wouldn't worry about it, chew up dry foods more, eat slow and drink plenty!
