Sertraline + Ibuprofen topical cream?

My Doc gave me pain relief cream for my dodgy ankle (same Doc that prescribes me the Sertraline!) that contains Ibuprofen. I'm reluctant to use it, does it get into the bloodstream and cause the same problems as when orally taken?

Or is it safe as a cream?
