Sertraline 100mg too much?

Hi all,have been on 100mg setraline for two months,started on 50mg but now I feel scared on & off nearly all day.Does anyone know if this is because the dose could be too high for me? I know its not a large dose as it goes but maybe too much for me. The doc says to cut it back to 50mg I have been doing this since Friday & no change,does anybody have any thoughts on this?
