Four weeks ago I went to the dentist about a skin tag looking round bit of tissue which I found at the back on my tongue. It moves, quite gross, not discoloured or bleeding.
The dentist prodded and scraped it and said it didn't bleed, doesn't look ulcerated, it is symmetrical and the same colour as my tongue so I wasn't to worry about it. He said he has a lot of knowledge of oral cancer and this looks nothing like how typical tongue cancer starts.
I forgot about it for 4 weeks but today I am worried about it again.
It's an odd looking thing but it hasn't changed and I go for a clean in 10 days time so so I trust my dentist and just mention it again in 10 days time or rush in tomorrow?
I think I know the answer.
I am trying not to google but wondering if perhaps google would know what they are. I would describe it as a skin tag that you can pull around but on my tongue.
