Confused&scared

Hi, I've been ill for over 3 weeks now, started with ear pain, glands swollen etc, have had cold and slightly sore throat, am currently on antibiotics but last night started with a cough and then kept waking up in the night with an awful taste in my mouth, my throat seems sore now as well. I had blood tests yesterday so just waiting for results now but I can't stop worrying, why am I not getting better?
