does anyone hear a heartbeat in there head all tbe time.

I spoke to my doctor about this as it was bothering me. He said that when we are anxious the blood pumps round faster so it can cause us to feel/hear the pulsating sound.

There is something called pulsating tinnitus which can cause this, it's not harmful but can be very annoying. If it is bothering you, have a chat with your GP.

After my doctor told me what it was, I noticed the more anxious I got the worse it was. Since then it has gone, I guess I stopped worrying about it so don't notice it any more x

I notice it at times when it is quiet. I get this also when I am lying down.

I have tinnitus and I sometimes get this. I have noticed over the years that it is definitely worse when I am stressed.

I once had to go to A&E for an unrelated matter and was so stressed I couldn't believe it (obviously!)

The heartbeat noise was horrific.

When I got home and calmed down, it lessened massively.
