Anal discomfort?

I feel kind of silly posting this, but the past few days I've been getting a bit of discomfort in my anus, but only when tensing it up a bit. I've been going to the bathroom just fine lately, and passing gas isn't an issue, so I don't know what it is.. Did anything tear by any chance, if anyone could assume that's what it could be? & would this pass soon?

I doubt it's a tear becoz I think you would have some blood. I would think that tensing it up would make it uncomfortable.

Like most of us with anxiety problems, you are looking into something that's not there, but I do understand that you need the reassurance that nothings wrong.

Well the discomfort radiates on the right side only. My boyfriend suggested a hemorrhoid, so I'm thinking that's what it could be.. Thank you for responding though, I do appreciate it because reassurance is always welcome!
