Hi, I'm on my 12th day of Sert and somedays anxiety worse than usual. The doc had gave me some valium for the first 10 days but nearly finished them. I'm really shaky the day and wondering if there is any natural remedy I can take for the anxiety as know the doc won't give me anymore valium. I've got passiflora drops but cannot find anywhere on net that says its ok to take it with sert. I know I can't take valerian.

Anyone know if I can take this or suggest anything else?

Thanks

What about several cups of chamomile tea over the course of a day? You can add some honey to it to make it taste better if its not your thing. One cup has a barely noticable calming effect but several cups are cumulative.

Valerian tea might be an option? I guess its weaker than the valerian tablets and therefore you may be ok. I think the issue with mixing valerian and SSRIs is more a risk of excess sedation rather than anything worse, but don't take my word for it.

If you have trembling/rapid heart rate, propranolol may help.

Otherwise stay off the processed sugar/caffeine, get enough sleep, and try some light exercise :)
