Hi, I belong to another anxiety forum but I don't find it helpful at all. Most of the time I feel invisible and they offer no valuable advice so I stumbled upon this place which seems to be much more informative. :)

I'm 38yr old female from Illinois. I have been suffering on and off with anxiety and panic disorder since 2008 after being under a tremendous amount of stress that would cause anyone to go over the edge.

I have been on 2mg's of Xanax XR and 1MG Ativan at night before bed since 2009 and I'm currently weaning down by .5. All has been good for 3 1/2 weeks but now things are getting bumpy again. So here I am.

Hmmm. So far everything I have read through is very anti-benzodiazpine. I guess I have to see if this place will be a good fit for me or not.
