Medications

Hi all

I wonder if you would mind telling me which medications you have found helpful for your anxiety. Currently I am on Prozac, oxazepam and Zyprexa which worked well for a time but ufortunately my anxiety is now back.

What meds have worked for you?

Im on mertazapine - which has helped but i do get my bad days and i am also booked on an anxiety management program in two weeks time - so hoping that helps xx

Citalopram i have found very useful, apart from slight short term momory loss!
It really seems to take the edge off things.xx

Hi

I take Citalopram, also in the past have taken oxazepam and Diazipam when i was at my worst, they gave me the boost i needed to get on the road to recovery.

hiya,
i was on floxetine for a while but it made me feel alot worse as i suffered badley with side effects from it.
i was then put on to citalopram which i am still on and it has helped me alot. i still get anxiety and panic attacks but it has helped take the edge off them

i'm on prozac and have been for a few years but i feel they're not working anymore so i may have to change them

Hi ,
I take citalopram which after the first few weeks feel like they are allowing me to get back to normal. They lift my mood so although i can still have panic attacks they are quickly over with and no way near as severe.
