Mono

Has anyone here ever had Mono? I went to the doctor wednesday and she believed I had mono. My stomach was tender when she pushed on it etc. She took bloodwork, but of course they didnt come in yesterday so I wont get them to monday. But I have this absolutely weird stomach pain. Its like burning/pressure pains at different spots in my stomach, like a very bloated feeling. Accompanied with pressure pains, etc. The stomach is very sensitive to the touch as well. For the last two weeks before this I Had felt very lethargic and sore and more anxious than usual.


The doctor also said I have a sinus infection, but I was wondering if this sounds like mono symptoms any of you have experienced.

Is that glandular fever?

Im not sure what it is called in Britain. Here is reffered to as mono, mononucleosis, or the kissing disease. (I havent kissed anyone)


EDIT: Yes it is known as glandular fever.

I had it when I was younger. Felt like flu with raised glands. Hope u get your bloods back soon to put your mind at ease.
