Quitting smoking, chest pain???

Just recently decided to give up smoking, down from 20 a day to 2 or 3. Iv read that the withdrawl symptoms include chest pain (great for someone who fears a heart attack). Does anyone have any experience with this or know what kind of pain it causes???

Im asking because I keep getting sharp pain in my chest a couple of inches below my collarbone and its freaking me out :(

Hi Secondtimelucky,
I quit smoking last August and had plenty of aches and pains, I was told it is something to do with your body expelling the toxins and isn't dangerous in the slightest. Try not to worry and if it carries on see your doctor to double check but I am sure you are fine :)
