If you're having an Exercise ECG, do you also need a Resting ECG? Or is the Exercise ECG even more comprehensive than the resting one, so the resting one isn't needed?

And those folks who've had an exercise ECG, tell me about it. Questions are:

Do you need to wear running clothes??

Ladies, where do they attach the electrodes and can they be placed around your bra? Do you then run in your bra, without a T-shirt on?

How long does it last? (The running, I mean!).

Is it really strenuous/tough? Do they push you to the max?? (I'm skinny but not very fit and a bit worried about that!).

Has anyone had one privately and if so how much was it? I just got a quote and all in, including consultant's fees, it would be about £550. :scared15:

Anyone??

And those who had an NHS one, how long did the referral take to come through?

Hi

This is just a courtesy reply to let you know that your post was moved from its original place to a sub-forum that is more relevant to your problem.

This is nothing personal - it just enables us to keep posts about the same problems in the relevant forums so other members with any experience with the issues can find them more easily.

If you have a read of the posts in this forum I am sure you will find the answers as well :-)
