In 2006 after I had candida I decided to make some pages in my daily food intake.This is what I did:
1)cut out sugar.
That means no chocolate,sugary foods and drinks,just fresh fruit.

2)Cut out salt/sodium;
That means no tinned food,no processed foods like frozen pizza/fresh pizza,no adding salt to anything.

3)cut out caffeine.
That means no tea,coffee.

4)No deep frying.
I bake food in the oven at all times.

Over the years I've found a great improvement in my wellbeing and I know its making my body healthy.At the age of 51 now I believe we have to look after ourselves better as we get older so we can be healthier as time goes by.

I eat a lot of apples each week.They are very good for you.

I dont drink alcohol/drugs/pills,etc.I leave a clean lifestyle.Its worth it.
I would suggest you cut back on 1 thing at a time.It might be too much for you doing it all at once.

Something to think about.

Chris.

Good for you for being able to do that. Did you do it one at a time over the years like you suggest?

It's so hard, as salt/sodium is in so much as is sugar ... things you wouldn't even think had sugar.

I have stopped eating deep fried foods ... switched to whole grain breads/pastas ... and trying to eat more veggies and fruits ... the hardest thing is my sweet tooth. I love sweets!!!! So I am trying moderation first before axing them completely :blush:
