Setraline - Advice

Hi

I started taking Sertaline 50mg last Wednesday. I have been fairly lucky so far will little side effects. I do feel a little better and not as anxious but the irrational thoughts are still there but don't seem to affect me as much.

I felt so much better over weekend but I feel down again today.

Is this normal?

Hi. I started Sertraline 6 weeks ago. The first two weeks I felt pretty good..which unfortunately I later found out was a honeymoon period. I went down again but now I am starting to see improvement again which fits in with my docs advice that they would take 6 weeks to start working. Some days have been better than others upto now.

I would advise that you stick with them as unfortunately they do take a while to start working

It takes a while overall 6 months for me but do work gradually, stick with it.
