Hi there I was diagnosed with ulcerative proctitis in December 2012... I've been given some oral tablets and some *ahem* suppositories!! The suppositories do the job they're great but I'm just finding that I only take my medication when things get bad (bleeding etc) and when all my symptoms stop I stop taking them which then makes my symptoms return... I'm in a vicious cycle!! The reason I stop is because I start to feel like a normal person again... Who doesn't have to be on medication every day.
Does anyone else suffer with this condition who has and advise or words of wisdom??
