Coldsores :(

Hi all, I thought I'd got over getting coldsores, I got them as a teenager all the time whenever I had a bad patch, My lip would look like I'd done 10 rounds with tyson, they always seemed 10 times worse than other people's aswell, I mean HUGE things that made my lip sag so much you could see my lower gum! and after 5+ years I've got another, my anxiety has been manageable at the minute, but it's very stressfull, so I think that explains all, I also came on my period, with terrible cramps, which never makes you feel any better about things! Anyone got any cheap remedies? a bit strapped for cash at the minute :( Thanks,

You can buy tablets to take and also ointment to put on.
I am not so sure that all pharmacies sell it but I just found this list of places

I know someone who got cold sores a lot and they started to use this and have never had one since.

The ointment in Holland & Barretts is £3.39 and you can buy one and get one half price. Tablets start at £7.19 and are also buy one get one half price.
