i have had panic attacks for 30 yrs and have just leaned that they are meaningless and a bluff of adrenaline

Welcome to the forum. Its surprising what effects adrenaline can have on your body! Never ceases to amaze me. Its just persuading myself that its harmless is the difficult bit.

Yes they are on the whole, BUT it doesn't make it any easier to deal with, or feeling any less real, so don't get cross with yourself or you'll end up with more issues. Some are chemically induced too ie caffiene , sugar etc

Take confidence from the fact you now know you are intrinsically safe to work on overcoming them a bit more positively.
