Strange heart sensations

Hi, I get palps more frequently than I would like to, but they're not the subject of this thread. I'm asking if anyone else feels like their heart is beating weirdly. Like it's too loud or the beats are accompanied by adrenaline rushes. I don't know if I make any sense. Sometimes it's like my heart cracks with each beat. It makes it impossible for me to sleep or lie down as I can feel each and every beat. If I'm being rational about all of this, I'm probably distorting reality and paying too much attention to my heart, but it's really scary.

I get this a lot too, my problem is I focus to much on my heart beating and then suddenly I feel weird beats of can feel/hear each beat. The more we focus on a body part the more we are aware of it. Try not to focus on it so much, if I find myself feeling this way I do some cleaning or play a game, anything to distract me from thinking about it. The games on here help me a lot especially the word games. :hugs:
