Worried about husband

My husband has been getting body aches all over for about 2 years now, really gets him down. Has been seen by a number of GPS who haven't really found anything wrong. Well this seems to have flared up a great deal over the past week and now one gland in his neck is very swollen. I am really worried it is something serious. When I tell him to go to the GP again his response is it is a wast of time. I just keep having these horrible thoughts again :weep:

Has he had blood work done?
I would maybe see a specialist, maybe get a biopsy of his muscles if they are cramping or getting weaker.
If its been going on this long, it'd be worth getting a few new tests done.

It could even be something simple as he's tensing up all his muscles in his sleep.

He had bloods done a while back, all fine, also saw a rheumatologist who said there was nothing wrong, but I just know there is x

Does his work involve physical exertions?
Sometimes my anxiety on my loved ones is more pronounced than my own.
