I still feel very depressed on lustral

Hi
my doctor changed me from seroxat after 20 years , to lustral . I have been on them now for 4 weeks at 100mg once a day . I still feel very depressed,more so than before , dont know what to do with myself, and scared that i wont come out of this , i cry a lot , i dont want to do nothing , i want to sleep and lock meself away in my bedroom , altho i do have other stresses

can anyone please help and advise ,

You need to give it a good six weeks really for the medication to fully start working.
The thing is antidepressants can make you depressed too, more so as a side effect for the first few weeks as your body adjusts, but if you don't start to feel better you may just need to try another medication.

thankyou for that , my dctor never explained about them to me , i was expecting to feel right after a month ,but i feel worse i dont want to get up of a morning , i keep crying , i cant see a way forward , there isnt nothing to get up for ,
