What Anti Depressant is best?

Can anyone tell me what AD is the best to take for anxiety and depression? I am on day 17 of fluoxetine and so far I don't feel any better. I rang my doctor this morning and he has suggested that I change medication???

Now...... I have read on here that fluoxetine can take a while to work, so what do I do? Shall I stick it out for another week or shall I change the meds?

Does any one AD work better than others or is it a case of trial and error?I

I am very confused now and just don't know what to do!

it takes a very long time for prozac to work, but when it works, it WORKS. Patience is key with this med, if you are feeling miserable, don't be afraid to ask for a script of diazapam/valium.
