Waking up with racing heart and numb arm

Last night I woke up I think three times with my heart racing and one of my arms dead. Twice it was my left arm and once it was my right arm. I didn't seem to be sleeping on them; each time they were just resting on my body. I woke up and moved them a bit and the feeling came back pretty quick. Anyone had this?

I get the numb arms but not with the racing heart

Ive been getting this.for.over a week and it scares me. Last night the palps and racing heart were so.bad I was wondering whether I should go to a+e but tried to calm down. Its.horrible. It also takes ages to make the pins and needles in my arm go.away. Ive no idea what it is but hate it xxx
