Another period question...sorry!

I am due to start in a few days but yesterday and today I have had red spotting. I thought I had started yesterday so put on a pad but now nothing...
Any help?!
This sort of happenef last month too. Is it normal?

yes its normal. you can spot for a few days before and after your period. i was adviced this a few years ago by my gp as i had the same thing and was worried like yourself.

I am just waiting for my real period to start now...
