Hoarse voice

My husband suddely developed a hoarse voice yesterday. He asy nothing hurts which is worrying me more than if he said he had a sore throat. I have diagnosed him with throat or oesphageal cancer already!!

HE is a none smoker and none drinker so common sense tells me that its most likely nothing serious BUT I have a gold medal in worst case scenario.

He has agreed to go to Dr if he is still the same in two weeks.

Anyone on here ever had a hoarse voice without sore throat and its not being life threatening?

Saw my friend's daughter today, she had a hoarse voice too - she's a GP and wasn't at all worried - she didn't have a sore throat with it. Try giving him some warm honey and lemon drink. We must all repeat to ourselves .... 'I will not keep catastrophyzing!' One day we might actually manage it!

Thanks for that. Maybe there is a bug going round that gives the hoarse voice without the sore throat.

I will keep repeating it to myself again and again and again!!!!!
