Muscle Pain - virus?

Hiya

Anyone else going through this at the moment?

Last Friday evening i had a really bad pain in my right shoulder so much so i couldn't move my arm. I couldn't sleep with the pain, so Saturday morning I went to out of hours at the hospital. they said it was pulled muscles (although I knew I hadn't done anything to pull a muscle!) they put my arm in a sling and gave me strong painkillers.

Later in the day I started cold like symptoms streaming nose, sneezing and started to feel generally yuk:huh:

Here I am today still not feeling myself, although the cold has dried up, the pain in my shoulder is still there and then to top it all I woke this morning with exactly the same pain in my left leg muscle just below the side of my knee...the pain is awful!

I'm wondering if this is a virus I'm dealing with as I have no other explanation :unsure:

Can anyone throw any light on this?

I've had viral arthritis in the past could be something like that
