ectopic beats and palpitations

Hi Been getting lots of palpitations and flutterings and racing heart. I am 51 and meno. however I have had palps on and off for many years now they are nearly every day and when i wake up and go to sleep they are fluttery. I have been diagnosed with a large benign kidney cyst and now my blood pressure is higher than it should be. like 154/90. I am worrying that the kidney cyst could be causing these probs. However could the anxiety be giving me an ectopoc beat that the Gp picked up when he listened-i am due to go for ECG now. Could it be the anxiety making the BP high too.

I may be younger than you, but anxiety can have strange effects on blood pressure, so can Thyroid problems. If you are constantly anxious having a bp of 154/90 is nothing to worry about!
