It depends what it is usually and how you are taking it?

Yeh Nicola is right, it may be around 53 beats per minute all the time which would probably mean it isn't anything to worry about, do you know what it usually is? Mine is usually around 42 BPM when im resting but that is normal for me.

If you are worried you could always consult your doctor.

I just felt my pulse the manual way and it was 54 and I am only sitting here on laptop. My husband always seems to have a low pulse rate.
I'm not sure what a normal pulserate is anyway though.
