Hello, I am looking to make new friends. I'm from London and suffer with social anxiety. I am very shy. I study at college but am open minded so please reply as i get on with people of all ages. I just want to meet some genuine friends who i connect with and can relate to so please reply.

Grace if I was you I'd only meet up with people off the internet if you knew there was going to be a group meet. Isn't there someone in college you have connected with? Maybe you could explain to that person what you suffer with.

If you do decide to meet people off here then don't give out your address and only meet in a public place - Good luck though cos I know how socially crippling anxiety and shyness can be :)
