And what have you done to overcome this? If you have managed too. We all know that avoidance is the worst things for anxiety but it's usually the easiest. I hate the way it works :(

Hi rainfairy
Mine changes daily. Mine stops me... shopping, socialising, going a holiday, going to the school run and more. Some days I can challenge and other days I give in and avoid x

Hey Rainfairy,

My anxiety sometimes stops me from leaving the house, meeting up with friends, having a relationship. Somedays are good, somedays are bad. I just try and push myself as much as I can or ask my Mum to come out with me otherwise I'm scared I'll be stuck indoors forever!

Wishing you the best
Hannah

My anxiety had robbed me of my life. My daily routines have become none existent, its an effort to just get out of bed. I have lost all interest in my own personal hygiene. I can't even remember the last time I looked in the mirror. I can't bring myself to look at this shell of a person that I use to be. Sounds dramatic, but that's the truth.

Mine stops me horse riding, which I love, having more kids, going out in the evenings as I get so stressed when I get tired.

Lots of things I avoid without really noticing, such as staying up late, watching tv programmes I like, I case I am too tired the next day.

I suppose I have a fear of being tired and getting ill....

Mine was originally driving/travelling, but as I think about it anything that makes me feel 'trapped', so lifts, escalators, cinemas, concerts, etc. Recently it's accelerated and giving me panic attacks when I'm on my own and feel isolated, especially at night, so it's hugely impacted my life :(
