Well coming into work's not too bad, so far...

Well after being off sick for (yet another) 2 weeks, I've come back into work for my last 2 days - being made redundant tomorrow after 15 years and the company having no more work.

I've been dreading these last 2 days, but I've come back to an empty office but found 5 'can't believe you're leaving, you're amazing' cards and even £40 from from a really nice couple saying I should go out and treat myself! It's really made me feel positive.

I'm in the office on my own all day today, and I know the phone will hardly ring. I just have to hope I get through tomorrow as well.

I know exactly how you are feeling I to was made redundant after 15 years after the company decided to relocate up north :( I think most people will agree it's not the job you will miss it's the people you have met along the way!

All I can say is do try and stay in touch with your work co workers even if it's once every couple of months to try and get together for a drink or something to eat :)
