Racing heart and skipped beats

I am a long time sufferer of HA. I have had several days of racing heart and skipped beats. This is not common for me and starting to freak me out. I went for a run yesterday and felt fine but I can't get my heart to slow down and stop skipping beats. Does anyone have suggestions?

hi there, i know how you feel i get a racing heart and the odd akipped beats quite often so I really know how you feel, i think you have done the right thing by going for a run, have you seen a doctor about it?? I have been to the doctors several times and had many tests and it has come down to anxiety and was prescribed propranolol which helps slow my heart down, also I sometimea do deep breathing in to a paper bag for a few seconds which can sometimes help, hope you feel better soon x x
