Why do you think you have mouth cancer, Mrs?

Cancers that can be "seen", like skin & mouth cancers, are very difficult for docs to miss. Xx

There are markers in blood tests that can indicate problems and they would then look further into that.

I think if you had mouth cancer for 2 years you would be either seriously ill or dead by now had it been left untreated.

Well, if it was cancer you would be dead by now.

And if they thought you had it no way would they make you wait for may.

If your GP thought it could be cancer, you would have got an appointment sooner. I know the end of May feels like a long time to wait but it will soon come round xx

I echo what has been said here. If you have had this for two years, without treatment and the highly unlikely event that you GP hasn't noticed, then you would be very ill, or at worse dead.

I noticed a lump in my mouth about a year ago. I panicked. I went to the doctor on 3 occasions to check it, I had my dentist have a good poke around, I've had an endoscopy since then and to this day it is still there.

I have no idea what it is, but if it was something serious, then I would know by now.

That's what keeps my mind off worrying about it now.
