go the docs and ask them to give you a scan and that should show up anything wrong

hi ellen,
im having a couple of days of this now, its def to do with holding your stomach tense, if im having the churning stomach symptom then this makes my stomach ache after a while also and under my ribs.
i have had pains down left side which i thought were kidney probs, but it was all muscular through tension.
deep breathing relaxes your muscles.

we are all stronger people after having this

I've had this for awhile now as well, but after every test I've been through, they always say - well, it looks clear *BUT* of course it could be...

so there's always a but, always. now I'm going in for a colonoscopy, then I of course read that there's sigmoidoscopy - so I guess I'll get another *BUT* and fear some more.

Hi Ellen

Do you get diarrhoea aswell? Anxiety can play havoc with your digestive system.

You say you have pain in your lower right side. I have Crohn's Disease and that is where I had pain on and off for years before it was diagnosed. Don't worry - I'm not saying you have it too but I think that area of the intestine is particularly prone to pain if your stomach is upset.

You've probably had tests for Crohn's anyway so it's more than likely tension related.

Take care
Rachel
