hi
i took citalopram 5mg for 10 days and become very untsable emotionally after quitting - I quit as the nerve stimulation was quite extreme
had 3 weeks of hell afterwards - sweating, noisy brain in the night- even noisier at the point of falling asleep, locked in anxiety, crying outbursts, restlessness, involuntary leg movements, maybe im ultra sensitive and experienced withdrawal syndrome
as i wasnt getting better doc suggested sertraline, have taken 25mg over 5 days and this is really powerful stuff- i have continuous nausea and electric shocks/sensory disturbances all over my body especially legs and arms and back
question is - do i persevere , taper or quit whilst im ahead? , worried that going either way will cause problems
my regular doc said to quit whilst im ahead as this type of meds is just not for me - way too stimulating - as i have an underlying problem with small nerve fibres in legs for which no possible cause identified but maybe stress/anxiety
thanks
