Swollen cheeks

MY mother is having a swollen cheek near her ear on the right hand side.
She has been to the doc. He said it was an inflamation problem. Despite taking the medecines, her cheek is still a bi swollen. Im very afraid with this. Anybody who has had the same symptoms please advise. Im very anxious for her as i suffer from anxiety attacks.

See a doctor. Try a ENT maybe or another primary care internal medicine doctor, not family medicine. Ask primary care what specialist covers that part of the body, I think it is Ear-Nose and Throat (ENT). It could be the Parotid gland is swollen.
