Medical Examination

Ive been sent to go for a medical examination about my claim for incapacity benefit...ive had them befor and still kept me on benefit...but for some reason im so scared about attendin this one as ive heard there taking a lot of people off sick...i dont receve any help from anywhere about my problems as everytime i go to the doctors they seem to always put me on tablets so thats another reason im thinkin they will take me off sick as i dont get no help !!

As anyone else been for medicals ?
did you stay on the sick or did you get taken off it ?

Hey nicki!!!
Try not to worry hun!! I go to one a year!! just make sure to tell them that u see ur gp about ur probs and u been on lots of meds!! I doubt they will take u of sick hun, they are just tryin to catch out the ones who dont really need to be claimin!!!

i didnt go for my medical, they came to me. I was nervous, but relieved when it was like a 90 yrold man who could barely walked. There was not physical examination, just questions really. I did have to hold my arms out and grip his hand though, and he checked my pulse, and he even jotted down that i bite my nails!

I got a letter a few weeks later saying i was still entitled to claim.

well this time im going to write down what i go through my symptoms...so i dont forget anything hope that will help...i just hope they belive what i go through good thing is ill have my fiance by my side :D

went for my medical today was only in there 10mins hope that wasnt a bad thing !!

she said i would hear within 3 weeks long time to wait !!!

i was sooo scared was glad to get out of there and go home !!
