Hi my name is sam iam 30yrs old married with 3 children...reading on the forums recently nice to know am not the only one lol..Iam currently taking Mirtazapine 15mg and citalopram 20mg for Depression and Anxiety....ive been taking citalopram for about 8 years now but 2 yrs ago mirtazapine was added to make the combination...recently ive been thinking about seeing my gp and reducing these tablets...i just wanted to know anyones experience in coming off this medication thanks :) xx

Welcome to the Forum, I'm sure you'll find it helpful. I was on citalopram a few years back and after a few months I felt like my old self again. I came off it, but then slipped back to feeling bad again. At the time I wasn't offered anything else, but I think if I had CBT or something similar at the time, things might have been different. I'm sure it'll work out if you've got the right support and way of thinking

hello Mrshutch. firstly what a sweetie dog:)
I was o0n citalapram for 4 years. Then about 10 weeks ago I was changed to fluexotine 20mg No been good on this, but do not know why obviously. Do hope that you will soon be feeling better will think of you. hopey:flowers:

Iam feeling good but been thinking about seeing my gp if i can start to wean off them,i feel like they have ruled my life for too long now want to go it alone with out them if i can :) xx
