EBV?

Does anyone know anything about epstein-barr virus?
I a gastroenterologist because my liver function test was high and i received a letter saying the EBV IgG was reactive which means evidence of past EBV infection more than 8 weeks ago, and autoantibody screen showed positive nuclear antibody result with homogenous HEp2 pattern. Does this mean i had the virus 8 weeks ago or not?

Ebv is commonly linked or one and the same with glandular fever , which not only affects the lymphatic system , but also liver and spleen , and some times it takes a long time to get over.
