Does anyone else just fall to pieces when their children are ill or just happen to mention they might have a problem. Take tonight my 9yr old has been complaining of having a blurry eye, it's happened a couple of times today so I'm totally stressed out that she has a brain tumor. Even writing it down makes me feel sick. I just hate it so much. Any advice anyone i'm having such a bad night with this all

I am a mother of young children and I do worry. My latest is that bruises are a sign of leukaemia! So you are not alone.
Having had CBT, I try to reason with myself. Try to do this. Ask yourself....what else could or be? Eg, eye infection, conjunctivitis, sinus problems, eye strain, need for glasses, etc. the chances of it being a tumour are very low. Make an appt with an optician and ask for a thorough check.
My eldest boy had headaches recently and turned out he needed glasses.
