Hi All,
I'm supposed to be seeing a consultant Psychiatrist in 2 weeks because my GP thinks that the 30mg of Citralopram I have been on for 5 months isn't doing it for me.
Although I have felt better I can't seem to get over the last fence, so to speak.
I have great weeks and then not so great weeks when all my symptoms return, uber blips if you like!
Although my anxiety seems to have eased a lot I am still feeling really weird a lot and get DP/DR frequently.
I thing my GP reckons that the Cit is exacerbating this?
My concern is that if I change meds to try something different will I have to wean off the Citralopram and ease into a new med gradually or just stop one and start another?
I don't really like the idea of messing with my brain it concerns me greatly!
Has any had success from swapping meds?
Cheers,
Gary
