Can picking nose in day make it bleed at night

Last evening for whatever reason I picked my nose and thought no more about it. When I awoke this morning there was a tiny amount of blood on my pillow. When I got up I blew my nose and there was streaks of blood in the mucous. My question is can picking your nose cause it to bleed at night whilst you are asleep. Really worried the blood has come from somewhere else.

Frankie - dont worry - i'm sure it can be the result of picking. I get bits of blood all the time when i blow my nose. I'm sure it'll be fine soon.

It could do but I guess you have to see how things go.

I am having blood in nose at the moment and being treated for it.
