Hi everyone,

I've just had the worst few hours "sleep" ever. I've been half awake rolling over and over in bed because of pain in my arm. It seems to be focused just above the inside of my elbow. But my whole arm aches too, and the pain sometimes goes down to my hand, mainly thumb. The pain above the inside of my elbow is at its worse when I bend my arm completely.

I've just has 2 paracetamol and 1 ibuprofen, no change though.

I was wearing a long sleeved t-shirt rolled up above my elbow all day yesterday, so am thinking maybe it cut off the blood supply? It was quite tight.

Do people think this could be a blood clot?

I'm quite pleased with my health anxiety that I've not jumped to heart attack, which I probably would have done some time ago.

Thanks,

EDIT: Oh and also I had minor surgery on my forearm last week, to remove a mole, could that increase blood clot risk?

If the pain woke you up could it be that you were lying on your arm and cut off the blood supply? I would ring the healthline and let them assess if it's something to worry about or not. Also, good on you for not jumping to conclusions! Well done!
