Please feel just above your bum crack, lower back as low as ou can go, just where your bum starts. Is there like bone, like a hard lump right under the skin..right at the top of the crack if you push hard ( have to be standing )

I do realise what a prat I am for asking this:shades:
Many thanks

When I first lost a lot of weight, I got freaked out because I always felt like I was sitting on something! Now I don't notice it.

Late poster, but this really made me feel better!
Since losing a lot of weight, I can feel my tailbone. It ends in a ball which feels like it's part of the bone.
And I never worried about it (felt it for about a year). But the last 5 months or so I've been suffering from health anxiety, so last week I decided to Google it.
And OMG, everyone was talking about pilonidal cysts which were soft and moveable and usually outside. Some people asked about under the skin and feeling as part of the bone, but no one could tell them what it was.

So happy you all feel it too and it really is just the end of my tailbone.
And logically I knew that 'cause it doesn't hurt and I have no other symptoms (other than my crazy heart palpitations, hot/cold flashes, muscle twitches, internal shaking etc... :P). But anxiety doesn't allow me to think logical right now
