What are the symptoms of strep throat?????

I've been up all night with a very upset stomach and symptoms like i have the stomach virus but earlier today i went to the doctor and they said i had strep throat.. Are these symptoms of it?

My daughter suffers with this but I don't think she gets the upset stomach
she just gets the really enlarged tonsils and they are covered in white her temperature
is normally high and her body aches, do you have any of these

Symptoms usually are a sore throat without coughing or sneezing, difficulty swallowing, fever, and sometimes white or yellow spots on the throat or tonsils.
Did they give you any medication?
