Another thought on my mind, this time it is not about a cancer worry for the moment.

A couple of years ago I foolish read about silver fillings about how much mercury is in them if it true (this was before my cancer fear set in). I had a few fillings and scared about mercury poisoning over the last 13 years.

I am sure the dentist I see at the moment knows what she is doing and would not try and put my health at risk (I know it is important to have dental work doing if needed)

I am scared if I need fillings replacing about mercury poisoning, chipping, cracking etc last time all it needed doing was repairing.

I really would like to hide these silver fillings with white fillings but I may need more of my tooth removed to make room for the white filling(s)

I get so worried about some many things.

Hi
if I'm reading right and understanding it, you can't put white fillings over the top of silver fillings.

Why do you think you need more of your tooth removed to change them over?
